The Doomsday Discs Monstrosity is an unconventional 9-speed fairway/control driver built around one of Doomsday's most experimental designs. With flight numbers of 9/5/-3/1, the Monstrosity offers an understable flight capable of producing hyzer flips, turnovers and creative shaping lines. What separates it from a traditional driver is its variable rim width: two sections feature a wider rim while two sections use a narrower rim, producing different grip positions and an intentionally unusual distribution of weight around the disc. It is best suited to intermediate and advanced players, experimental throwers and collectors who enjoy exploring nontraditional disc designs. Best uses include turnover drives, hyzer flips, tailwind distance, technical woods shots and experimental release angles. Plastic options have included Clandestine, Survival and Isolation Glow. The Monstrosity is PDGA approved, allowing its unusual design to move beyond novelty status and onto competitive courses.
